Looking for an unforgettable journey of a lifetime? Our highly successful and popular Porsches and Parks Tour is back and we've added TWO nights!! Join the Porsche Club of San Diego as we take a week long tour of the Great Parks in Arizona and Utah. We will caravan through some of the most beautiful roads in the country as we explore some of the most amazing natural wonders of this part of the world, including the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Canyonlands National Park, Arches National Park, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. The tour will begin on Saturday, March 25, 2017. We will tour per the schedule below to finish on Sunday, April 2, 2017. Lodging for all 8 nights is included and as well as three hotel provided breakfasts, two formal dinners, one lunch and one cocktail mixer with heavy appetizers together along the way. For food not included in the cost of admission, your tour guides will find breakfast, lunch, and dinner spots for the group for each day, and you can either opt to join in and pay your way, or find your own eateries based on your preference, and your budget. We have worked hard to charge just enough to cover costs, and so we are only including the three breakfasts, one lunch, two formal dinners and one cocktail mixer with heavy appetizers.
There will be plenty of hiking opportunities, and chances for you to explore on your own, or you can stay with the pack. Hiking of course, is optional.
Here's how the week will flow:
Day 1/Saturday: Journey to Prescott, AZ. We will meet at Hoehn Porsche in Carlsbad, CA Once everyone has arrived, we will be on our way to Prescott, AZ... just recently named the US city with the cleanest air according to the American Lung Association! We will have a lovely dinner together in Prescott, as one of the two dinners included in the total trip costs.
Day 2/Sunday: Journey to Sedona. Enjoy your included breakfast at the hotel before we leave Prescott then drive through Jerome to Sedona up Oakcreek Canyon. We will stop and spend the night in Sedona.
Day 3/Monday: Journey to the Grand Canyon. We will travel on to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. We will arrive with plenty of time for you to explore the beautiful landscape of the Grand Canyon. Enjoy a glass of wine at the south rim watching the sunset. We will spend the night at the Grand Canyon.
Day 4/Tuesday: Explore Antelope Canyon, and Moab, Utah. We will leave the Grand Canyon for Antelope Canyon near Page AZ. We will continue on to Monticello, UT via Monument Valley and have our included group lunch overlooking the spectacular monuments. We will end our trek in Moab, Utah. We will have a hosted cocktail mixer with heavy appetizers this evening at the hotel.
Day 5/Wednesday: Canyonlands National Park, Arches National Park, Moab, Utah. Enjoy your included breakfast at the hotel. Then we drive to Canyonlands Natl Park's Island in the Sky and explore. Then we will head to Arches Natl Park and visit the park. We will spend a second night in Moab, UT
Day 6/Thursday: Escalante Staircase and Bryce Canyon. Enjoy an included breakfast at the hotel. Then we drive to Bryce, UT via Escalante Staircase. We will tour Bryce Canyon the rest of the day and spend the night in Bryce Canyon.
Day 7/Friday: Zion National Park. Drive to Springdale, UT. Tour Zion Natl Park. Optional hiking to Angels Landing and up the Narrows. Bring day hiking shoes and water shoes to hike in the water up the Narrows canyon. We will spend the night just one mile from Zion National Park. We will have our final group dinner together this evening.
Day 8/Saturday: Vegas, baby! We will spend the morning at Zion for those who wish to hike some am trails. At noon, we will depart for Las Vegas.
Day 9/Sunday: Return to San Diego. Spend as much time in Las Vegas as you'd like and head home to San Diego at your leisure.
The cost of the Weekend is $2299 per couple or $2099 for a single driver. (Single drivers~ register on the wait list then contact Victoria to notify that you are a single driver and I will adjust your rate.) $500 non refundable deposit is due to secure your spot. Balance of registration fee is due on or before 12/31/2016. Registration fee is non refundable due to hotel reservations booked in advanced and planning purposes.
