About this event
Join us for 2 mornings of track sprints at MSR Houston concluding with a Leader of the Pack Bracket Race each day. Just like drag racing, you’ll declare a dial in time and race head to head. Closest to their time without going under wins!
We’ll be running 2 groups this time so that everyone can get a chance to relax between their sessions, and to allow for double drivers sharing a car. The first and second sessions will be scored for TT class points as always, but there’s a little something special this time! Before your second session you’ll need to report to timing to declare your dial in time. Qualifying for the King of the Hill will take place during your second session, with seeds being set by how close you can come to your dial in time. The top 16 will progress to the Leader of the Pack bracket for all the bragging rights.
Have a car that you autocross? That’s all you need, no special equipment above and beyond what you would use at an autocross is required! Have a friend? Bring them along and co-drive!

We are running under the current National Time Trial Level 1 safety rules and the 2023 TT Supps
Sanction number for Time Trial is 23-xxxx-xxxxx.
There is the possibly of charges from the track if your vehicle dumps fluids that requires cleaning it off the track.

If you have a convertible, please check with the 2023 Time Trial Supplementary Rules 5.6 for safety requirements. 2023 TT Supps . You must have rollover protection that is attached to the frame of your car.
Everyone on site at our events must sign the SCCA insurance waiver and wear the provided wristband. Minor waivers are available for anyone under 18 accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. SCCA members, including minors, have the option to complete a digital annual waiver ahead of time instead of signing the paper waiver on site. The process is quick, simple, and free: Digital Annual Waiver Instructions. Note: Your my.scca.com profile picture, not the photo submitted with the annual waiver, will be shown on your membership card. A profile picture that is wider than it is tall may be shown sideways on your membership card, so cropping it before uploading is suggested.
TrackSprint drivers will need to show a valid drivers' license.
Windows, arm restraints, or window nets are required. If you do not have windows, arm restraints or window nets must be used.
Clothing that effectively covers the body from neck to ankles is required, and outerwear must be100% cotton. All drivers must wear shoes that cover the entire foot.
