About this event
If you missed the Maryland Spring Drive, or just want another beautiful drive in the country, please join us on Sunday, May 19th, for a country drive and picnic lunch at the Virginia State Arboretum (http://blandy.virginia.edu/) catered by The Locke Store (https://lockestore.com/) and with wine from Valerie Hill Vineyard (http://www.valeriehillwinery.com/). Your hosts will be John and Rose Eberhardt.
We will meet for the drive at 10:00 AM in Manassas (location to be provided to registrants). We will then break into our run groups and drive some fun, back country roads to Millwood, VA, where folks can pick up a choice of boxed lunch at the Locker Store (Club Sandwich, Tuna Sandwich, Egg Salad Sandwich, Fruit and Goat Cheese Salad) before heading onto the final leg over to the Virginia Arboretum. You will be able to order your lunch in advance on the registration form on the following pages.
When we all arrive there, we’ll start our picnic with a glass of wine each from Valerie Hill Vineyards, a local winery in Winchester, VA.
Expect the drive from Manassas to Millwood to last about 1.5 hours, the drive from Millwood to the Arboretum to last about 15 minutes, and the picnic to run from about 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, at which point you are encouraged to walk around the arboretum and enjoy. We highly encourage bringing a picnic blanket, sunblock, and anything in addition you would like to snack on! And the Locke Store has plenty of additional goodies that you can buy when you are there.
Registration fee of $40 per person include food, wine, gratuity, and good company. You’re on your own for gas or anything else you buy at the Locke Store.
DATE: Sunday May 19 (registration required by May 14 so we can make sure adequate time is provided for our orders).
RALLY POINT and DRIVE OVERVIEW: To be provided to registrants. We will meet in Manassas near I-66 and head into the countryside.
REGISTRATION FEE: $40 including lunch, wine and gratuity.

APPLICATIONS/ACCEPTANCE
- Our events are open to all marques.
- You do not need to be a PCA member to participate.
- This event has limited capacity to accommodate the venue's facilities, and for the safety of all participants. (late registrations are risky due to capacity). Watch the website for revisions.
- We will notify you of your status by email. You are responsible for updating your profile in the MotorsportReg.com website to include your current contact information.
- We initially list all registrants as “confirmed”, or "wait listed" if the event is filled to capacity. When needed, we will change your status as soon as possible. We will provide formal notification of acceptance into an event by email prior to an event. If you haven’t received any notification, check the MSR website for your status.
- Due to limited capacity of the event venue, walkups are discouraged from attempting to join the event. Special consideration may be given to those who preregister but are wait listed at a future event.
- IF YOU CAN'T PARTICIPATE, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CANCEL.
CANCELLATION
- You must cancel please be courteous and cancel as soon as you can in order to allow others from the wait list to attend.
- If you cannot cancel online, you must notify the Registrar by email and receive an ACKNOWLEDGMENT by email to verify that you have canceled.
PAYMENT
- Potomac accepts only credit cards for payment. You are responsible for maintaining VALID CREDIT CARD INFORMATION in your profile.
- Billing problems result in notification by email with limited time to resolve the issue due to the short billing period. If the issue is not resolved, we may cancel you from the event.
- Credit card and billing information uses secure connections and is protected by MotorSportReg.com. You are the only person who has access to your card number. We only see the last four digits for billing purposes.
- ALCOHOL NOT INCLUDED IN OUR REGISTRATION FEE
REFUND
- Cancel up to one week prior to the event for a full refund.
- NO refunds will be approved within one week of the event date.
- Contact the D&D Chair to discuss special circumstances. THE D&D CHAIR IS THE ONLY PERSON WHO CAN AUTHORIZE A REFUND OR CREDIT FOR AN EVENT.
- If you are authorized a credit for an event, you must use it before the end of the calendar year. We will not carry credits over into the following year. Credits may only be used for other PCA Potomac events. They can't be used for other clubs who also use motorsportreg.com.
