E Komo Mai Qunsha RallyCross

Alaska State Fairgrounds

About this event

The Arctic Alaska Region, of the Sports Car Club of America, will be sanctioning the E Komo Mai Qunsha RallyCross at the Alaska State Fairgrounds, Palmer, Alaska. This event is a the first half of the Sports Car Club of America's Hawaii Region and Arctic Alaska Region's Inaugural Rally Challenge. There will also be a Road Rally on Sunday, November 17th. Although both events are stand-alone competitions with Class Winners declared at each event, there will be participation awards for those SCCA members who take in the RallyCross and RoadRally events both in Alaska and Hawaii.

The E Komo Mai Qunsha RallyCross is the start of our 2014 Winter RallyCross Season and the Region is looking foward to seeing you in the driver's seat. Competitors will get a minimum of four runs on the course. Given the format of the day, you should be ready for “lots of seat time”!

Enter both the RallyCross and the RoadRally and save $15 in registration fees! Please remember that all competitors must be SCCA Members, and you will find the option for an SCCA Weekend Membership ($10) on the Registration form. You will have a $15 credit towards an SCCA Membership with your Weekend Membership, which benefits you in the upcoming year with reduced entry fees at all SCCA events — RoadRally, RallyCross and Solo (aka Autocross), participation in Arctic Alaska Region activities, and SportsCar, the National monthly publication of the SCCA.

All competitors who register by the 12:00PM, Friday, March 15th's online close of registration will receive an SCCA RallyCross decal for their vehicle! Of course, you can register trackside on Saturday morning between 9:30-10:00AM too, yet RallyCross Steward Bastien encourages online registration to help with our preparation for this challenging event! You'll be invited to the social event to meet our Hawaii Region guests should you register before Thursday, November 14th!

E Komo Mai Qunsha RallyCross Schedule — Saturday, November 16th

9:00 AM - RallyCross Team Arrival
9:30 AM  -  10:00 AM - Onsite Registration Hours
All competitors will need to come by Registration upon arrival to check-in — both those who registered online and those who choose to register at the event. Note that Registration is only open for 30-minutes. You will then head to Tech for your vehicle inspection. It is best to arrive early so you'll have more time to walk the course!

Cars will be gridded departing tech, and we will have the first car on course immediately after the Driver's Meeting. The number of runs will be determined from the number of competitors, with a minimum of four runs. There will be a 30-minute lunch break (the RallyCross Team will be reviewing the course) and then resume with the RallyCross Drag portion of the afternoon.

Awards after Competition - Not later than 4:30PM
