About this event
This event is for female drivers of ANY SKILL LEVEL, from brand new to champion and everything in between! NWR Sports Car Club of America, Bremerton Sports Car Club, Torque Steerers, and Pacific NW Porsche Club of America, are teaming up again to host a Women's Practice Day. We are changing things up a bit from last year's event, this year will have more of a traditional practice day feel - participants will drive part of the time and do a work assignment part of the time to help the event run. We will still have some instructors available to help those who would like coaching :-)
Guys, please invite all the lovely gals in your life to come play, and we'd also love to have your help with running the event - we can use help with tech, timing, waivers, and coursework. We will provide volunteers with a tasty lunch and lunchtime / end of day fun runs to say thanks. Entry Fee: $60 (online pre-registered), $70 (onsite non-pre-registered). Loaner helmets will be available.
Event Schedule:
-Registration: 8:00am – 9:00am
-Tech inspection: 8:05am – 9:05am
-Drivers Meeting: 9:20am
-First car out: ~9:45am
We'll divide drivers into two groups (Run 1st/Work 2nd and Run 2nd/Work 1st) - we estimate the morning session will last about 2 hours (TBD based on attendance) - everyone will run for approximately 1 hour and work for approximately 1 hour.
LUNCH BREAK ~1hr: Volunteers will be allowed to run the course at this time
-Women drivers will repeat the run/work order from the morning and run up to more 2hrs/TBD - based on attendance
-Volunteers can run again for 1 hr at the end of the day
Event requirements
- Please consult the BSCC website for car set up tech requirements
- All helmets must be rated Snell 2005 or newer rated. Loaner helmets will be available free of charge.
- You must have valid driver license to attend this school
- Drivers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who will be asked to sign a waiver the morning of the event. Those under 18 will not be permitted to be on site if their parent is not present to sign.
