PCA-GGR Instructor Training & DE Feb 10 2017
Thunderhill Raceway Park 3 Mile East

PCA Golden Gate Region’s track team is excited to be kicking off our 2017 season in February  with a Driver’s Ed (DE) / Instructor Training event at Thunderhill Raceway Park on Friday, February 10, 2017.  We'll be running the tried and true 3 mile east course.

All of our current and future Instructors will be engaged in training throughout the day.  As such, there will be no Student run group at this event.  However, we have more great events planned for 2017. Please keep an eye on the calendar for future events: http://pca-ggr.org/track/.

Instructor Candidates: If you are interested in becoming a GGR DE Instructor, please request an application (if you haven't already) from Jim McClelland (link?), our CDI, before registering as an Instructor Candidate.
 

If you are already an Instructor, please sign up to mentor our Instructor Candidates.  If you’re a veteran of the track and would like to get your first DE day of the year - please register for a fun day at the track.

PCA - HPDE Insurance Program
In June 2009, Porsche Club of America and Lockton Affinity announced the PCA - HPDE Insurance Program. This innovative program provides single-event physical damage coverage to PCA members who attend High-Performance Driver's Education events. Over the past ten years many auto insurers have changed their policies to exclude coverage for claims "occurring on a surface used for racing", "at a high-performance driving event", or "use of an auto at a racetrack". Your existing auto insurance policy may not cover damage to your car at the track.
