About this event
Albemarle, Amherst, Augusta, Nelson, and Rockbridge counties, VA
Once a year the Blue Ridge Mountains go through a transformation from the beautiful blues and greens of summer to the greys and browns of winter. In between we get to enjoy the colors hidden in the leaves as we drive our Porsches on roads with scenic views of our beloved Virginia.
The Shenandoah Region PCA invites you to join us on Sunday, October 18 for a beautiful autumn drive through the Blue Ridge Mountains on twisty scenic roads. We’ll start in Crozet, VA and travel west toward the western base of the Blue Ridge Mountains, twisting and turning our way to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Then we’ll slalom down the east slope of the Blue Ridge with several stops along the way to Amherst, where we will have lunch at Travelers Fine Food & Drink on South Main Street. If the number of participants exceeds 50, the overflow will be eating lunch at Vito’s Pizza, Bar & Grill on Richmond Highway, a very short distance from Travelers. The tour will end in Amherst, and participants can head back either on Route 29 or take Route 29 to Route 151.
