About this event
The Shenandoah Region’s 19th annual RPM should be the highlight of your PCA year. Plan to bring your family, your Porsche, and yourself for a good old-fashioned weekend with Porsche friends.
Our host hotel for out-of-town guests is the DoubleTree by Hilton Richmond – Midlothian.
Be sure to allow enough time to put the finishing touches on your Porsche for Saturday morning’s concours.
The concours will be held just a few miles from the hotel at the beautiful river home of Tred Spratley & Janine Collins, where your car will be judged “tops only” or just displayed on the grounds if concours is not your game. The famous “Café Carrera” will open with a catered lunch under the big trees.
The color theme this year is purple. Come visit with the Ingram family of the Ingram Collection in Durham, NC who plan to join us and display their 2015 Viola Metallic 918 Spyder and 959 “supercar”.
In the afternoon there will be an optional gimmick rally/fun run with other Porsche owners and a tech session hosted by the folks at Euroclassics Porsche. That evening, participants will gather at the Martin’s Grant Club House for dinner, a talk by Bob Ingram of the well-known Ingram Collection, and an awards presentation.
Sunday will take participants to Southside Speedway for an autocross
you will not soon forget. A 1/3 mile banked oval track will allow
you and your Porsche the opportunity to run for fun and precision.
