Photographing Cars

Atlanta Classic Cars

About this event

Every wonder why the camera picture you took, did not come out the way you seen it with your eyes?  On Saturday, July 8th, Al Floer will conduct a session to teach you how to get the most out of your camera at Atlanta Classic Cars (1705 Boggs Rd NW, Duluth, GA 30096) at 11:30 a.m. in the Sales Training room.

This class will explain in simplistic terms how to improve your photos.  This is not a expert level session, but will get you closer to that ability while enjoying a day with fellow Mercedes-Benz club members.

Learn how your camera works and what effects the ability to capture the moment your mind sees. We will discuss camera function, lighting, shutter speed, aperture settings and what ISO means, in simplistic terms. Learn the difference between cameras, cost and how glass (lens) is more important than mega-pixels.

After lunch, we will then take the class session out to the car lot and do some of the things we discussed in the session as examples to help hands-on learning in real time.  Bring your camera no matter what type, and let’s have some fun and camaraderie.

There will be no charge for the session, but there will be a $5.00 fee per person to offset lunch from Jimmy Johns.  Please select your lunch when you register.
