Collecting model cars seems to be a natural adjunct to car collecting. I know many major car collectors who also enjoy a sizable collection of model cars, particularly, models of cars that they have in their personal collection. If you are interested in Mercedes-Benz model cars you are fortunate inasmuch as there is a very large number available covering nearly every year and model. I have been collecting model cars for over 25 years and my collection includes over 200 of our favorite make, dating back to an 1886 Benz and up to a 2016 AMG GT S Coupe. Naturally it includes a model of our 2014 CLA and our 2016 SLK300.
On Saturday, November 12, 2016 we will hold a meeting at RBM of Atlanta, located at 7640 Roswell Road, Atlanta 30350 (Sandy Springs). I will be presenting pictures of many models that I think will interest you. I will bring a few of my favorites and I hope you will as well. I plan to tell you about models and where you may find them, you may be surprised.
There is no charge for attending this outing. We will start at 10:00 am and run to about Noon. We do a need a count as our space may be limited. Following the outing we will have a pay-your-own lunch at a nearby restaurant. I hope you will be able to join us.
