Hello MINIpalooza Fans!

This year's event, as our previous MINIPalooza in 2016, will be held in and around the beautiful mountain cities of Blowing Rock and Boone, NC.  MINIpalooza 2018 will be a 3-day event from September 14th to the 16th.  Being in the mountains this year means we have lots of twisty roads to tackle. There are some great roads in this area.  Runs are being setup for Saturday and Sunday morning so you can get your motoring fix!  Runs will be available for a variety of driving styles and interests.

For Friday evening we are having a catered dinner event (Time TBD) sponsored by with Flow MINI of Winston-Salem at the Yadkin/Holiday Inn in  Wilkesboro.  Food at the event will be provided by Brushy Mountain Smokehouse & Creamery.  We will be posting details on the event's Facebook page and clubs webpage. 

On Saturday we are scheduling runs for both morning and afternoon.  Most of the runs will start and stop at the host hotel with a break in between so participants can grab some lunch. Several different types of runs are being planned, from visits to local sites/attractions to some runs that will let you take in the beautiful scenery to some pavement shredding twisty blasting runs. Saturday evening dinner will be at your discretion.

On Sunday morning we will have a group photo (location TBD) and then one final run for anyone who has the time and wants to get in a few final twisties.

There is a $15 registration fee for this event.

Event requirements

Don't forget to order a T-Shirt.  Our MINIPalooza in the Mountains T-shirt is the same high quality, soft t-shirt you've come to know and love from THMMC events. T-Shirts are available in a variety of sizes.  We are offering Men's Short Sleeve Crew Neck and Ladies Short Sleeve V-Neck.   T-Shirt ordering cut off date is Wednesday, August 22, 2018.  


 

There is a section on the registration form that asks about your plans to attend the Friday evening catered dinner.  These are not firm commitments, but we would appreciate you indicating whether you think you will attend as part of the group or not so the organizers can work with the caterer to make sure they can handle a party of our size.

Registration for this year's event is $15 to help offset club costs. In order to attend the Flow MINI sponsored event on Friday evening, you must purchase one registration per MINI (up to four attendees).

PRE-REGISTRATION is very important. It will let us know how many cars to plan for, especially on the runs, which may have limits. It will also allow us to send out important information by email all those who register with updates, as the event gets closer.
