Join the Washington DC Region SCCA for our next 2021 Driving Coach Clinic and High Performance Driving Education (HPDE) of the season, April 10th at Dominion Raceway.
The mission of the SCCA® is to fuel a safe, fun and exciting motorsports experience for automotive enthusiasts. The club’s vision is to be the preferred motorsports community in the United States, built on fun, shared passion and access to an exhilarating motorsports experience. The SCCA strives to ensure all participants at its events and activities enjoy a welcoming environment. Saturday, April 10th will be a Driving Coach Clinic for new and experienced HPDE Instructors. The Driving Coach Clinic is by invitation only. Anyone instrested in the candidate training should have ~25 days at the advanced level, advanced days occuring at 3 or more tracks. Contact the Chief Driving Instructor if you do not already instruct with us, and are interested in doing so. Current instructors are hereby invited to participate. Along with the clinic will be a supplemental HPDE event open to Intermediate & Advanced Solo Drivers only.
Entry Fees for this event at Dominion Raceway:
Saturday Driving Coach Clinic - Instructors: $ 50
Saturday 1-day Intermediate or Advanced HPDE Fill-ins: $ 275

NOTICE: Open (convertible, with or without removable/retractable hardtop) cars must have a SCCA Time Trials legal roll bar or factory rollover protection (bring factory documentation). The top of the roll bar must be above the top of the helmet for both driver and instructor. Rollover protection should be such that all occupants are able to pass the “broomstick test" when properly seated, belted, and helmeted. Removable or retractable hardtops are NOT considered rollover protection.

Vehicle Insurance is not required for this event, but we do recommend it. Here are links to two vendors that have approved our events for their HPDE on Track Insurance coverage. We DO NOT endorse either vendor. Hagerty HPDE Insurance or Lockton HPDE Insurance

Event requirements
Detailed participation requirements are contained in the event Supplemental Regulations (which are mandatory reading). By entering this event, the participant acknowledges that they will read and understand the “supps” and agree to abide by them.

Please visit https://wdcrsccahpde.speedwaiver.com/ykydk to execute the SpeedWaiver for this event. If you hold a 2021 SCCA Annual Waiver, you do not need to use SpeedWaiver, all others must execute this waiver prior to the event. Note: Minors may not use SpeedWaiver.
This event will be held with strict COVID-19 precautions. All participants will follow safety guidelines and directions from event officials.
