2016 Great Lakes Division RallyCross Championship

2016 Great Lakes Division Rallycross Championship presented by Thayer Automotive

hosted by Detroit Region, SCCA

at I-96 Speedway, Lake Odessa, MI

Event Chair: Jon Armstrong

$85 entry fee. Membership required but weekend memberships can be purchased for $15 (applicable to your full membership if you join)

All vehicles must pass tech inspection. All drivers must wear approved helmets and seatbelts.  No passengers allowed at this event, except in X class cars. Loaner helmets will be available but please return them when not in use.

All drivers, passenger, crew and spectators must sign a waiver.

Trophies will be given out based on the scoring for the entire event.  Detroit Region season points will be given out based on the normal Detroit Region scoring rules and two days of the event will be scored separately for season points.

 

Event Schedule:

Thursday, June 23rd

1:00 am - close of online registration
(for registration after this time, email the registrar or register onsite. There will be a $10 late entry fee.)

 

Friday, June 24th

7:00-9:00 pm - Onsite registration open

7:30-9:00 pm - Tech open

Camping and Bonfire

 

Saturday, June 25th

8:00-10:00 am - Onsite registration open

8:00-11:00 am - Tech open

9:00-9:30 - Course open for walking

9:30-10:45 - Test & tune

10:50-11:30 - Class inspection (cars must be in class inspection area by 10:50 or penalties are applied to first run - see supplemental regulations for details)

11:15-11:30 - Random draw for run order

11:30-12:00 - Lunch (available onsite)

12:00 - Driver's Meeting

Afternoon - 2 run sessions with a break between to change course (number of runs will depend on total number of entrants, run groups will depend on number of entrants in each class)

Evening - Following completion of timed runs, Sunday's course will be set up and there will be dinner provided by DRSCCA

 

Sunday, June 26th

Sunrise-9:00 am - Course open for walking

8:00-9:00 tech and registration (single day entrants)

9:00 am - Short driver's Meeting

9:05-~12:00 - Third run session (run order determine by position after Saturday's runs, fastest drivers first)

~12:00-1:00 pm - Course cleanup and lunch provided by DRSCCA

1:00 pm - Trophy presentation
