About this event
Fall 2017 marks the ten year anniversary of the Southeast BMW Brodeo. This is a three day camp out and driving event, comprised of BMW owners and enthusiasts from across the southeast in the Appalachian / Smoky Mountain region. It is a great chance to enjoy both the beautiful area and all the curvy roads it has to offer including US129 Tail of the Dragon, Blue Ridge Parkway, Cherohala Skyway, among many others. It's also a great place to make friends with fellow BMW enthusiasts and meet a plethora of interesting people.
The celebration of our decade of debauchery includes random group drives on great roads, plenty of group campfire time, beer, and beautiful wildness camping.
We will be camping at Smoky Mountain Meadows Campground located on Alarka Mountian only 10 minutes from Bryson City, NC.

Event registration is $10/day. The campground also has small cabins available for an extra cost collected by the campground host. Please contact Smoky Mountain Meadows if you wish to reserve a cabin once you have registered. All prices are per person.
Signups are available for as few as one or as many as four nights.
A paid registration reserves a spot on the group campsite and helps cover the massive amount of firewood burned over the three nights we are there.
***PLEASE NOTE: This is very much an adult-oriented event. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. All attendees are expected to carry a valid drivers license and proof of insurance on any group drives.***
Event requirements
We will be camping at a higher elevation, so plan for Fall/Winter weather conditions. We got a few inches of snow one Fall event and wore shorts the entire time at another, so keep an eye on the forecast leading up the the event. It's always a good idea to bring warm clothes and/or a number of layers, as well as camping gear suitable for cool weather at night.
The campsite has WiFi, hot showers, washers & dryers, ice and snacks on site, as well as a handful of campsites with electric and water hookups.
There will be a group bonfire nightly suitable for cooking, and there's usually a grill or two brought.
