The October First Friday Niter is being written by guest rallymasters Revere Jones and Jared Leadbetter. The odometer check heads east on the 210 to Sunland. The rally travels up Big Tujunga Canyon to Angeles Forest and down Angeles Crest into La Canada-Flintridge, where the rally then travels on and around Chevy Chase. About half of the legs have traps, which means that about half don't! The finish is at The Habit Burger, 990 Town Center Drive, La Canada-Flintridge.
We are using the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring, with timing to the second. All checkpoints are listed in the route instructions, with a Restart after each one. The maximum penalty for this FFN is 3 minutes (180 seconds) per leg. Before you arrive at the start, please download the Richta Competitor app to your phone; it's a free download for Android and Apple devices. There is no need for additional timing equipment, your Official Time shows in the app!

In-person registration opens at 7:00 pm, with the first car out at 8:01 pm; there is a beginner/Richta meeting at 7:40 pm.
