About this event
Join us on a beautiful drive up to spectacular Diablo Lake! Taking alternative routes on the way up to highway 20, this drive combines both beautiful vistas with fun twisty back roads. After the photo op at the overlook, we’ll return back down to the lake and cross the historic Diablo Dam for a picnic lunch at the North Cascades Environmental Learning Center where there are facilities and beautiful easy hikes along the lake. Lunch is NOT provided. You will need to bring a sack lunch with you or pick up something to go at the stop in Marblemount. Lunch marks the official conclusion of the tour after which you will have plenty of time and route options for your return trip home (or extend your trip along highway 20 over Washington Pass to really make a day of it).
