Welcome to the first "Biggest Little 5er Fest." Though this event is primarily celebrating the BMW 5-series cars from 1972 - 2002, it really is an informal gathering of like-minded classic/vintage BMW enthusiasts along the lines of the St. Paddy's Day event in San Diego, the sadly-defunct 5er Fest events and more recently, 5erWest in Gladstone, Oregon. Given what everyone has been through over the last 16 months with our beloved events canceled for both 2020 and 2021, here's a chance to get together, drive our cars and enjoy ourselves safely. Events include dinner on Friday, a show-and-shine style event at Lazy 5 Regional Park in Sparks, Nevada on Saturday, dinner on Saturday evening (it polled better than Saturday morning dinner in the focus group) and a drive on Sunday. Come for some or all of it. Please register for the event as soon as you can as this greatly aids in our planning process. Also, T-shirts will be ordered on the order form. There may be a limited number of shirts available at the event, but that is at the discretion of the planners. Info will be forthcoming about a possible block of rooms in a hotel, also there are discussions about other lodging options on MyE28.com. Event requirements
This event is open to all BMW enthusiasts with an emphasis on the classics. If you've never been to an event before, there will be plenty of people available to show you the ropes to enjoy the experience. The featured marques are the classic 5 series chassis E12, E28, E34 and E39 models from 1972 through 2003. Not all cars will be show cars so don't be afraid to bring your vehicle. We would appreciate it if you completely fill the registration form as this will help the planners put on the best event. If you can only participate in some of the events, that's no problem, we just need to know which ones.
