Back to the Basics; a General Tech Session on Mercedes Maintenance
On June 1st we will congregate at My Mercedes and Bimmer Place, 4345 Highway 400, Cumming, GA to learn about basic Mercedes maintenance. The program will start at 10:30; Danny Brewer will lead a show and tell of basic maintenance procedures with plenty of time for questions and answers, and then we’ll sit down for a lunch graciously provided by our hosts. Registration will be $10 per person.
This event was originally conceived as basic maintenance for women event, and as we discussed it we realized that was NOT what we should be doing as it was a bit sexist, but we also realized that women did not have a monopoly on the need to know more about what’s involved in maintaining a Mercedes. Due to the kindness of our hosts, we have the advantage of doing this event at My Mercedes and Bimmer Place so that the workshop is immediately available for demonstrations of procedures such as oil change, belt replacement or tune-up. There will be plenty of flexibility to answer all of our questions about basic maintenance, and all questions are welcome; but if there are questions that you are embarrassed to ask give them to event planner Gary Edwards (edwardsgw@nu-z.net) and he’ll ask them for you.
It will be a fun gathering in a nice location and I’m sure we’ll all learn something.
