Baseball season is coming up and the action will be at Frawley Stadium with the Wilmington Blue Rocks celebrating their 25th season. The Porsche Club of Delaware has selected June 9 for our annual outing at the ballpark. We are contacting Blue Rocks ticket sales to reserve at least one Suite and put one on hold. This will be held on Friday night where the Blue Rocks will be hosting the Buies Creek Astros. The Buies Creek Astros are the Houston Astros newly formed Class A Advanced affiliate.
This will be our big day; it's where we will have a post game Porsche parade around the outfield at Fawley Stadium, then we'll park in the infield and watch the Friday night fireworks light off. There will be food, but not just peanuts, popcorn, and crackerjacks. The Blue Rocks will be providing hot dogs, gourmet hamburgers, dynamite grilled chicken, as well as veggie hot dogs and burgers.
The cost is $20 per person for the game ticket and access to the suites. The suite food package is provided by the Porsche Club of Delaware.
