Autocross Practice

The Boeing Employees’ Autosports Club (BEAC*) will hold the first autocross practice of the year on June 6, 2020.
Full day: $50
Half day: $40
Participation in the practice is limited to members of BEAC and persons who are eligible to be members of a Boeing Recreation club: Boeing employees, Boeing retirees, vendors, customers, contract, and government personnel assigned full time to The Boeing Company and their spouses and dependents.
Please note the additional restrictions and requirements for this event in place due to COVID-19:
- You must bring your own helmet. There are no loaner helmets available. If purchasing a helmet, make sure you buy a Snell M or SA 2010 or newer rated helmet. (Newer Snell ratings will be valid longer and that as 2020 spec helmets come out we will be removing 2005 as a valid rating.)
- Pre-registration and payment is required.
- There are no BEAC bucks accepted for this event.
- You must bring your own hand sanitizer and your own face mask/face covering.
- You must agree to follow social distancing guidelines.
- If you are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 you will stay home.
- No in-car instruction is available
- Additional requirements will be announced: stay tuned.
Also please make sure you have renewed your BEAC membership for this year, including signing of the yearly participation waiver.

*BEAC is an official Boeing Recreation administered club. Annual dues are $15 (individual), $20 (family).
**”Autocross” is a medium-speed, non-wheel-to-wheel form of motorsports competition in which each car is individually timed through a course laid out on a large paved area using plastic traffic cones. It’s conceptually similar to slalom skiing competition. Average speeds are in the low 40’s (mph), top speeds typically are no more than 60-65.

Event requirements
- Cancelations and refunds: Please read and understand this policy before registering! No refunds will be given for this event. If you are unable to attend because of symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home and contact us for possible alternative arrangements.
- Payment: All participants must provide a valid credit card number at time of registration but you will not be charged until a later date. On June 5, 2020 we will charge your credit card on file.

- Car club membership: Participation in the practice is limited to BEAC members and persons who are eligible to be members of a Boeing Recreation club: Boeing employees, Boeing retirees, vendors, customers, contract, and government personnel assigned full time to The Boeing Company and their spouses and dependents.
- Insurance: You are responsible for your own insurance. Please check with your insurance carrier before registering if you are unsure of your coverage.
- Age and driver's license restrictions: You must be at least 16 years old and in possession of an unrestricted driver's license at the time of the event. For participants under 18 years old, the participant and his/her parents must sign additional waivers and the participant must attend with at least one parent or legal guardian. The parent or legal guardian is not required to participate, although we encourage families to participate together.
- Helmets: All participants are required to wear helmets. Permitted helmets are rated Snell-2005 or better (e.g. Snell-2005, Snell-2010, Snell 2015) or FIA 8860, SFI 31.1 or BS6658-85 Type A-FR. Your helmet must have the manufacture certification tag to be acceptable. Non Snell helmets must be within 10 years of manufacture (date tag required). Either automobile (e.g. Snell SA-2005) or motorcycle (e.g. Snell M-2005) helmets are acceptable. These are the only allowable helmets. You must bring your own helmet.
