Cinco De Mayo Oysters Touring Drive and Social

REGISTRATION CLOSED DUE TO OVER SUBSCRIPTION 

A Drive followed by some Oysters, Cheese and Margaritas? That's all what it takes to have an ecstatic festive experience!! 🤩 Join us on May 6th for the Cinco De Mayo Oysters Touring Drive and Social Event! This event will be starting in San Rafael CA, and traveling through some fun and twistie routes along the pacific ocean, stopping for Oysterns  and a Wine and Cheese purchases along the way before arriving at our picnic destination, in a Regional Beach Park 🏖️👙🍾🦪🥳

Please note that all drivers and passengers are required to be free of Covid-19 symptoms to attend the event, and both must sign waivers online at speedwaiver.

The full event details are listed below:

• Event Date: Saturday May 6th
• Event Start Time and Location: 8:30 AM in San Rafael, CA
• This event is limited to 21 Porsches, divided into 3 running groups!
• The drive is approximately 2.5 hours, including 2 pit stops: One for Cheese/Wine purchases, and the other for Oysters purchases
• A Service Car will be available on this drive
• We will fully abide by the PCA GGR Motoring Driving Safety Rules and Regulations
• This Drive will take place Rain or Shine (it will only be canceled if we assess the road as hazardous)
• Once you register for this event, and your registration is accepted, you will receive an email about the WAIVER, and the PCA GGR Motoring Driving Safety Rules and Regulations. Please make sure that you, and all your passengers sign the WAIVER, and make sure that you read and PRINT your name on the READ fully and print your name and email on the PCA GGR Motoring Driving Safety Rules and Regulations otherwise your registration cannot be confirmed
• Picnic Lunch:
  • You will have the option of purchasing oysters during one of our pit stop!
  • Please bring your picnic lunch and/or you will have the option of purchasing other food items (cheese, wine, fruits, etc.) from a market during one of our pit stop! 
  • Please bring your own ustensils, and bring your Oyster Shucking Set if you will be eating Oysters!!
  • During lunch we will show a demo on how to open an Oyster Shell with your Oyster Shucking Set
  • During lunch we will be serving a FREE Margarita inspired cocktail (Tequila, Lime/Lemon, sparkling water and ice) - it is Cinco De Mayo after all - Please note that only one glass will be allowed per Driver
• During the drive, the Lead and the Sweep Drivers will communicate by FRS Two-Way Radios. We recommend you to bring your own radio and listen in, as road hazards and warnings will be broadcasted. Please note that, in case you bring a radio, this should not alter the ability to have both your hands on the steering wheel at all times while driving
• The event registration fee is $25* per car
• Please bring $7 in CASH for car parking at our picnic location in the Regional Beach Park
• Please note that the credit card on file will be charged once the registration closes. Once it is charged, no refunds can be applied (as we will be submitting the reservations)
