Northern Colorado to the Black Hills of South Dakota
This non-competitive event will take you on an epic adventure from northern Colorado to the Black Hills of South Dakota. Routes have been pre-driven by GTG Drives members and sports car approved! Lodging has been carefully selected to provide a central location and a relaxing end to each days excitement. A sports car and camera are strongly recommended for this tour. No dirt or gravel roads are planned.
Parties? Nope. The fanciest hotels? Nope. All highway? Heck no! We are all about the DRIVE!

BOOKING YOUR HOTEL: It is your responsibility to make your hotel reservations. We have specially negotiated group hotel rates in Hill City, South Dakota. Hotel information provided with the signup receipt.
Start location is Fort Collins, Colorado; you will need to be in Fort Collins, 7 June 2019. Day 1 of driving will begin the morning of 7 June.
Day 1 June 7 - Fort Collins, Colorado to Hill City, South Dakota
Highlights - 300 mile scenic drive (less than 20 miles on I-25) - Group Dinner - Mt Rushmore lighting ceremony -
Day 2 June 8 - Black Hills, South Dakota
Highlights - Iron Mountain road (17 miles, 314 curves, 14 switchbacks, 3 tunnels and 3 pigtail bridges and magnificent Black Hills scenery) - Needles Highway (SD HWY 87, a National Scenic Byway with sharp turns, narrow tunnels. granite spires and world class views) - Mt Rushmore Presidential Trail 0.6 mile hike
Day 3 June 9 - Black Hills South Dakota - This GTG event will conclude after lunch.
